Samsung India Plans to Hire 1000 Engineering Graduates for its R&D Facilities

In a bid to promote research and evolution, S Korean tech giant Samsung today revealed that it will be hiring yard engineering graduates from top-tier Indian institutes for its research and development facilities in the country. The visitor will host hiring drives at IITs, NITs, Delhi College of Technology, $.25 Pilani, Manipal Constitute of Technology and IIITs, amongst others.

Dipesh Shah, Samsung's global senior vice-president and MD Samsung R&D Institute, Bengaluru, Bharat, said:

"Samsung is extremely bullish on R&D in Republic of india. The 3 R&D centres in India piece of work on several cut edge technologies…Nosotros will be hiring around 1,000 engineers from peak engineering colleges this year across the three R&D centres in Bharat, of which over 300 will be from IITs. A majority of them will be hired for domains such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, betoken processing, computer vision, mobile security and biometrics among others. There is a big need for talent".

A vast majority of the hiring will exist focused on new age domains including bogus intelligence, Cyberspace of Things (IoT), motorcar learning, biometrics, natural language processing, augmented reality and networks including 5G. Other than the usual computer science graduates, Samsung will besides hire engineers from a number of other disciplines including, electrical engineering, mathematics and computing, applied mechanics, statistics, etc.

Last year, Samsung hosted a like hiring drive for its R&D facilities during which the company hired 800 engineers, out of which 300 were from IITs. The company has 32 R&D centers across the earth, out of which iii are in India at Bengaluru, Noida, and Delhi. The R&D centers in India focus on both global products and India specific innovations.
